I am an Irish Immigrant who came to Boston as a Finance graduate in 1993. Like most young immigrants, I struggled to find a footing in this country. A few years ago, I decided to write a novel about this unique time period during the last mass immigration of Irish people to America. The book is inspired by the thousands of immigrants, documented and undocumented, who emigrated at the same time. I met and knew many people who found it hard to survive.
